We returned to the Southern Counties Drama Festival in 2024
with a fresh take on a classic shakespeare comedy set in the 1940s.
Our rendition of Much Ado About Nothing follows the complex love stories of Hero and Claudio and Beatrice and Benedick set in the 1940s post-war. We watch various Coux's and comedic mishaps until Hero’s innocence is proven and they resume the weddingleaving us with a happy ending for our 2 couples.
Taking on a Shakespeare comedy is no easy task especially when its your directorial debut but Tabitha Crocker rose to the challenge. After being nominated for Best Actress at SCDF '23 she returned in 2024 and was nominated for best adult and youth show as well as best director.
