
Dominic Semwanga
Dom started his career in the arts as an actor in various amateur theatre productions. He then went to The Brit School for Performing arts and Technology where he spent 2 years studying Film and media production and a further 2 years studying musical theatre. This gave him opportunities such as performing at The Brit awards with Little Simz and working with industry professionals like Phylidda Lloyd. He directed Disaster Class's first production of Slavey which was his directing debut. As well as directing he also produced, stage managed, lighting designed and created an original score for the piece. He won the adjudicator's award for all of the above as well as being nominated for best director. Most recently he joined the REP Company at the National Youth Theatre. He is currently directing the company's Original Musical 'A Show About Tomorrow' for Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
